This is a Body, Mind and Focus event.  Sensei Wright will teach the girls basic self defense moves, talk to them about being safe and what to do in certain emergency situations.

1st Aid / CPR Scheduled in the Western Communities

Who:        All Girl Scout Adult Volunteers
When:      Thursday, __________   6-10 PM
Where:      Palms West Presbyterian Church, 13689 Okeechobee Blvd, Loxahatchee, FL  
                 (2.5 miles west of the intersection of Royal Palm Beach Blvd and     
                  Okeechobee Blvd. The Church is on the North side of  Okeechobee Blvd just 
                  past "F" Road) 
Cost:         $10.00
Details:      Sue Holmes, our Service Manager is certified trainer for First Aid and CPR through the American Red Cross. 1st Aid / CPR Classes is scheduled December 4th (more classes can be scheduled Jan. 2009 as needed).  To take your girls anywhere outside of your regular meeting place or to be safe with your girls in general, First Aid and CPR is required. This course if open to all Girl Scout Leaders, Troop Campers, and the members of Palms West Presbyterian Church.  This course if free but, to receive the card from the American Red Cross there is a $10.00 processing fee.
