21st       Service Area Bridging 
          
This is a yearly event that is sponsored by the Girl Scouts of the Western Communities.  We come together and do a bridging ceremony for those girls moving to the next level of Girl Scouts.  Scouts are asked to complete bridging activities prior to the ceremony.  Leaders and scouts are asked to attend the planning meetings scheduled in the months prior to the ceremony to plan activites and ceremony.

Mothers & Daughters are invited to this event to celebrate Leader Appreciation Day.  We will travel to Key Largo , go on a Glass Bottom Boat, eat lunch (pizza), feed the Tarpon and top the day off at Shell World for souvenirs before traveling home.  Official date of Leader Appreciation: April 22.

Breast Cancer Awareness Event at WRMC

Where:          Wellington Regional OP Diagnostic Center

Details:           In Honor of Juliette Gordon Low and her fight with breast cancer, this event will be held at Wellington Regional Medical Center , in the Women's Imaging Department. This event is a perfect opportunity for a Mother / Daughter event.  We will meet to tour the department and demonstrate the different modalities that are used to image women's breasts for Breast Cancer.  There will be breast care professionals there to present breast cancer awareness and answer questions. 
We will earn requirements for the Breast Cancer Awareness IPP.
